AYSO 225 would like to thank all the coach volunteers - without YOUR commitment and dedication, we wouldn't be able to provide soccer to the youth of the West Valley.

Practice Plan Ideas for New Coaches
Try to avoid players standing in line and simply dribbling through cones. Here are some simple exercises that increase touches on the ball, keep everyone involved, and develop a solid foundation for ball control.
Keep practices specific to one skill. Don't do a dribbling exercise, followed by a shooting exercise, followed by one about headers. Your players will get more out of it.
For U6 and U8, we recommend about 45 minutes of practice time, and 60 minutes for U10. Try any 2 exercises from the attached links for about 15 minutes each and save the last 15 minutes of every practice for a small sided scrimmage.
